As promised, here are some of the pics i took while at the goat farm a few weeks ago. If i am not wrong, this is the largest goat farm in Singapore. It has about 1000 goats and they do produce fresh goat milk daily. You can buy it at the farm or get it deliver to you daily. The milk comes in 2 flavours, Chocolate and Original. I tasted it and personal find it pretty similar to cow’s milk but a little less creamy and minus the flavours now we get in Cow Milk, like the added vanilla.

This farm is open from 9am to 4pm daily for Farm Visit for walk-ins. Guided Educational Tours can be arranged too.

F1 Night Race in Singapore go-ahead!

Yes it’s a go! Singapore has been given the green light to host Formula One first ever night race in the history of Formula One. The date is 28th September 2008. Mark it down on your calender. The Singapore race will indeed be iconic. Apart from being the first night race, it is only the second F1 race – apart from Monaco – to feature a full 5.067 km street circuit.

Fish Farms in Singapore

fish-farm-2.gif

This is a little known fact even among Singaporeans. Singapore is one of the World’s largest Ornamental Fish Exporter…oh WOW…said many. Yes make a trip down to one of our home grown Fish Farm, Qian Hu and you will know what I mean. Fish farms are situated in the North Western Part of Singapore. To be exact, they are found around Kranji/Lim Chu Kang Area.

Most of these farms are open to the public daily during office hours. For more info on visiting these farms do check out Visit Singapore.

Lim Chu Kang

Took a drive recently to the outback of Singapore, Lim Chu Kang exploring Fish Farm, Goat Farm & Veggie Farm. I drove all the way to the end of Lim Chu Kang Road. I vaguely remembered seeing a bus terminal and a jetty when i was there years ago. The bus terminal seems to be gone and I found a Police Coast Guard Center and a jetty. However, I also discovered that there are quite a numbers of kelongs opposite the jetty. When I was there, I saw a group of people unloading bags and bags of mussels from their boat into their lorry. They definitely looks like seafood suppliers who just came back from the kelongs. (pictures of goat farm and fish farm will be posted shortly).

If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain.
If you see ile do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.
If you try to see it the other way and if you do see, your IQ is above 160
which is almost a genius. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. BOTH DIRECTIONS CAN BE SEEN.

Men

Heard a statement that cracked me up badly…

Here goes;

 Men are like parking lots, the good ones are taken and the ones left are handicap.
