9 Days to Christmas!

“9 Days to Christmas!” If you haven’t finished shopping you have less then 9 days to do so. The malls gets more crowded by the day and I am sure it gets more stressful if you still have a long list of names that you have not found a Christmas gift for. Ha…how I know? Well I was in that situation many times and we are doing better this time round. We have about less then 10 gifts to go :) *This the season to be Folly la-la-la-la-la-la la la la laaaa.*

Christmas in Asia for us is all about getting and exchanging presents with family, friends and love ones, preparing and having dinner with family on Christmas Eve and going for a Christmas Church Service on Christmas Day to Celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ 2000 years ago.

HE is the Reason for the Season!

Christmas is not about consumerism, it is not about Christmas Lightings, it is not about Lavish Dinners. It is about GIVING. God gave his son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for us that so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.

Christmas is a celebration of God’s love for Men. He gave us the greatest gift, his ONLY son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

May the Love of God touch you this Christmas!

Westin Hotel, Bukit Bintang, KL

The Westin, Kuala Lumpur

This is the hotel we stayed in during our recent trip to KL. Totally enjoyed the stay there. It is centrally located along the famous Bukit Bintang Shopping Area.The rooms are new and the concierge service is excellent. Highly recommended.

oh btw, this hotel is famous for their breakfast buffet spread and it cost RM$58 each. You have been warned :) Enjoy!!!

Why were we in KL?

Well… the story goes like this. Recently, my daughter participated in children singing competition during a Malaysia tourism Fair held at Suntec City Singapore. The MC were looking for children to go up on stage to sing and without hesitation she went up to the stage and sang her favorite song. Guess what…she WON 2 pairs of tickets to the ride and EYES ON MALAYSIA. I wasn’t there with her as I was working. I can imagine the “proudness” on her mother’s face :p

My wife felt that we should follow through with her. She wants her to feel that she has done a great job on stage and for what she did, she has won herself a free ride on the EYE ON MALAYSIA. So with this, we made our coach & hotel reservation and we spent 3 full days at Kuala Lumpur.
