We all struggled with our faith one time or another, especially when are are facing challenges in our life and when we are going thru tough times. We ask questions…like, Why me? Why it happened to me? It God real? Does he exist? Why did he let this happen?
And many a times, we put our faith in our fellow humans and they failed us. But the good news is, if we put our faith in the finished work of Christ at the cross, He CANNOT Fail. What is Faith? Faith is just trusting God, believing Him. There is nothing mysterious about faith. When we decide to believe God absolutely, then supernatural life and power enters our lives. One of the practical results of faithis that it makes weak people strong! Hebrew 11:34 says ” Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens”.
To live in the hall of faith, Do 2 things today:
1. “Lay aside every encumbrance” Yield everything to Christ.
2. To believe that Jesus is trustworthy. When we do, we have given up the sin that so easily besets us-for that is the sin of unbelief. We give up that sin by “looking at Jesus”.
Only ONE type of human being in the world can please God. Who is it?
Hebrew 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is , and that he is a rewarder of them that dilignetly seek him.
How awesome is our God! Simple things are Powerful!
God showed me Hebrews 11 while I was doing my devotion and I trust that it will build your faith as much as it has for me!
